Damien Miller 72ef7c148c support --without-openssl at configure time 
Disables and removes dependency on OpenSSL. Many features don't
work and the set of crypto options is greatly restricted. This
will only work on system with native arc4random or /dev/urandom.

Considered highly experimental for now.

     New buffer API; the first installment of the conversion/replacement
     of OpenSSH's internals to make them usable as a standalone library.

     This includes a set of wrappers to make it compatible with the
     existing buffer API so replacement can occur incrementally.

     makes the pain stop in one easy step
     NB. portable commit contains everything *except* removing includes.h, as
     that will take a fair bit more work as we move headers that are required
     for portability workarounds to defines.h. (also, this step wasn't "easy")

     Move Buffer bignum functions into their own file, bufbn.c. This means
     that sftp and sftp-server (which use the Buffer functions in bufaux.c
     but not the bignum ones) no longer need to be linked with libcrypto.
